Who can be a member of KIB?

A member of the Association may become anyone supporting the objectives of the Association and has some relations with the
technology and engineering. In our Charter it is written like this: members of association can be citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as foreign citizens of full age and recognizing the Charter of the Association. Members of the Association must be honest, decent people ready to grow and develop in a professional manner. Members of the Association shall be the Kazak patriots and are involved in activities relevant to the interests of the Association.

What do I receive from membership in this Association?

Membership allows you to share experiences and ideas with colleagues and peers, and get access to products and services necessary in your professional activities. Membership allows you make your contribution to the young Kazakh technical culture, as well as into technical development of the Kazakh language.

What categories of membership are available?

Membership in the Association has three categories

• Associates
• Members
• Fellow members

What are the criteria for different categories of members?

Associate – individuals working in a related field or who simply have a passion for engineering and technology people who work in the
technology field, or have technical hobbies.

Members - have relevant technical knowledge and skills and they have relevant diploma or certificate confirming their qualifications.

Fellow members - have high qualification and sustained achievement in their field of work. Fellow members generally worked in the technical sphere of not less than 10 years.

Do I need to be the Kazakh to become a member of the Association?

No, a member of the Association may be any person of any nationality, most importantly, a manifestation of respect for the Kazakh language and desire.

How long can I be a member of the Association?

Membership is valid for one year from the date of payment of membership fee, and then you will need to update your membership.

How can I apply for membership?
